Let's go Fly a Kite.

Creative Title I know. I'm known for my creative mind. =) Nathan and Joe came home from work one windy day and decided it would be fun to fly kites. Elly's been swinging them around in the packages around the house since Easter. She hasn't wanted to open them. She thought she was flying kites by swinging them around. We had about 4 of them. Nathan and Joe had more fun than Elly I think.

Elly was having fun just running and jumping around and doing somersaults while dad flew a kite. She wouldn't open hers.

I was the winner, of course. I got my kite all the way up my first try. Brag, brag. I know, we're not that smart to fly them in the middle of a pecan orchard, but the park was too far away.:) For those of you that don't know where we live, the park is practically in my back yard. However, we didn't get them stuck in the trees...permanately anyway.

Finally we convinced her to try it. She let go right away, but eventually got the hang of it. She had fun. Joe had so much fun that he took Elly and went and bought a nice expensive kite.

Ragan didn't care much for flying kites.
