Where do they come up with this stuff?

The other day Elly came to me and it looked like she needed to potty, so I made her sit on the toilet. After playing for awhile and mom losing a little patience said, annoyed "GO PEE!" Elly says "But there's nothing in my butt." It made me chuckle just a little. She says the funniest things sometimes. It's funny the words they use to express themselves.

Today:
Elly: "Let's color mom. I'll use this pink one."
Mom: "That's red honey"
Elly: Shrugs her shoulders "Whatever"
She acts so grown up.

She's also full of Guess Whats, and oh shoots, and whatever else she can catch me saying all the time. I really have to be careful how I talk because she is so quick to pick up everything I say.
