Papa's Pumkin Patch

My dad decided to grow a pumkin patch this year. Actually, it was managed mostly by JR with a little help from Nathan and Scott and the kids. The girls had fun picking out their pumkins. LOTS of them. We have pumkins coming out of our ears. And we never got around to carving any of them so we still have pumkins coming out of our ears. At least they'll be good decoration until Thanksgiving.

Uncle Joe came back for a little bit to help daddy frame a house. The kids LOVE Uncle Joe. He's the best babysitter. He's gone now. The kids miss him for sure. There's not many people that can win Ragan's affection, but Uncle Joe manages just fine.
It looks like Nate was super excited to find a pumkin. Score!

I have had pumkins rolling around my house for a couple of weeks now. The kids think they are toys. Anytime I try to take them outside, they end up back inside somehow.

Ragan is playing "Ring around the Pumkin". She is so funny. Her personality is really starting to come out. She honestly keeps me laughing all day. She's such a ham. I'll do a post on her soon.

I wouldn't know anything about actually EATING the pumkins. Ha ha. That's what the canned pumkin by Libby is for.
