The 4th in Alpine

For the 4th of July, the Scarboroughs invited us to go up to their family cabin. It was kind of a hectic week and we were already out of town but decided it would be fun. We left Mesa Friday morning, came home and repacked (we were only home long enough to reload our suitcases) and headed to Alpine. Lots of driving, but the kids did amazingly well. They have always been pretty good travelers. The weather was perfect. We enjoyed some rain, good food, and good company. The kids played great together and we had a nice relaxing weekend.
